Mount Litera Zee School, Dehradun celebrated its 3rd Annual Sports Meet 2022, on 19th November, 2022 amidst great mirth, verve and camaraderie.
The hon’ble Chief Guest gracing the event was Mr. Jogender Singh Pundir State President Kisan Morcha, and Ratan Singh Chauhan former Metropolitan General Secretary BJP, Guest of honor Mr. Vinod Chamoli MLA Dharampur, Director Mr.Sagar Baisoya, School Principal Dr. Sangeeta Bhardwaj and a large gathering of parents.
The Principal extended a floral and formal welcome to the Guests and dignitaries.
This was entailed by the hoisting of National Flag and followed by the lighting of the torch and declaration of the Meet Open by the chief guest, and releasing of balloons, to mark the expression of joy and merriment.
The most intriguing aspect, embellishing the event was the March past with the rhythm of school band, involving mass students participation which splattered on the field,
full of hues and vibrance.
The displays included Pyramid formation, satin- drill, dance drama, fun races and tug of war.
The most mesmerizing were the Tableau of different states full of vibrant colors and depicting cultures.
The subsequent Prize Distribution, the Winners of various events were given medals, trophies and certificates.
The academic achievers of the session 2021-22 were also felicitated by awarding trophies.
The students were also rewarded. Samiksha and Rishabh were given the best sportsman award among the students of classes 6 to 8. Shoaib Rao and Ishita Tomar were given the award for the best sportsperson from class 9 to class 12.
During this, the best pre primary teacher award in the school was given to ms.Bhavna, the best primary teacher award to ms.Diksha Anand, TGT mr.Jitendra Singh Lingwal, the best PGT teacher award to Mr. Amit Guleria and the best admin award to ms.Shubha tyagi.
The cock house trophy was bagged by the Columbus house.
The chiefguest in his address to the gathering motivated all the students for successfully organizing the event and congratulated all the awardees.
The Vote of thanks was proposed by the School principal DrSangeeta Bhardwaj.
The Meet saw its culmination with the National Anthem.
